Ms. Sinerate's Bio: I'm so excited to be teaching video production to middle school students! Learning video production while in high school gave me a huge advantage when joining the industry in 2011. I graduated from Quinnipiac University's School of Communication with a bachelor's degree in Media Production. After graduating I began working for the university as a Media Production Specialist. As I would help the students with their projects, I realized very quickly that I had a passion for working with students and helping them explore all elements of video production.
After receiving a master's degree in Interactive Communications from QU, I returned home to Boston where I began to freelance for the local news stations, NECN and NESN.
In 2014 I began working for the Boston Globe's video department where I specialized in sports and motion graphics. I was recently nominated for two New England Emmy Awards!
After a year at the Globe I realized I missed being in the world of academia and jumped at the opportunity to take part in the new Video Production program at North Reading Middle School.
With my experience in the industry and passion for teaching, I am ready to turn our classroom into a production studio!
